Apheresis technology*
*The collection of donor cells is a peripheral cell donation carried out with an apheresis machine which separates the blood into its individual components by a centrifuge. This enables the collection of target cells from the blood. A venous access is placed on both arms and connected to apheresis machine via a sterile system. The blood leaves the body on one access, flows through the apheresis machine and is returned to the body via second access.
